career in financial services, currently as a commercial lender working with several local
financial institutions. He earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and a
MBA from Augusta State University. His genealogical journey began with a family tree on
his Kennedy line prepared by his great-uncle. As a result, he focused his research in
Abbeville and Old Ninety-Six districts and in Greenwood and McCormick Counties in SC,
proving the relationships in this family heirloom and building upon it. He has since
followed other lines, venturing into Duluth, Minnesota, and eventually hopping across the
pond to Cornwall. A large amount of his research has focused on his maternal grandmother's
line, spending several years researching records in Germany.

Tourism Talks is an event designed to disseminate information directly to business
leaders inour region, to generate excitement for area attractions, and to connect our
local businesses together to ensure we all prosper from our growing tourism economy.
Tourism Talks is proudly hosted by Chester County Economic Development and the
Chester County Chamber of Commerce and is the direct result of many partnerships made
during the tourism meetings held over the past year at the Great Falls War Memorial
Building, coordinated by the office of Senator Mike Fanning and the Great Falls Hometown
Association.
The tourism meetings have three sub committees--signage, communications and connections
and these committees are made up of elected officials, organizational leaders, the press,
emergency management, and business owners. Although too many to name, we thank all
these dedicated people who have volunteered many hours to prepare our county for a
bright future and give our visitors reasons to return again and again.
